
For some people, Torean Route is another challenging route to Mount Rinjani Summit and Lake Segara Anak.
Most trekkers only take Senaru Route when they climb to lake and they take Sembalun Route if they want to climb summit first.
This unique route of Torean is more challenging, more dangerous but has awesome views. Most of trekking guides and porters don't like this route due to it's difficulty.
We can only take you and escort you to this unique route with our expert trekking guides and porters in 04 days 03 nights to summit from Senaru.
The route is only open between July to October and closed in rainy season.
Day 01: Senaru-Torean Village Route
After early morning breakfast, we take you by local transport to Loloan Village, Never expecting for luxury road because it's bumpy and rocky narrow road.
Arrive in Torean village you will star your trek. The walking distance from Torean to the Torean rim is approx 3.5 Km and around 5 hours uphill treks.
A long the way, you will walk through the twin valley of Torean with spectacular views. As soon you arrive in Torean Rim, Take early bed and overnight. ( B.L.D )
Day 02: Torean Rim-Summit Rinjani-Lake
At 02 am we start the trek to the top of mountain Rinjani, cool weather makes the climb exceedingly difficult to say the least.
We made it to the top in the nick of time even in our frozen stiff an exhausted state the star beauty of our surrounding was own inspiring.
At 6 am we arrive at the summit, and enjoy the time no more than one hour. After spending good time here, we go down to the Sembalun Rim for breakfast.
We continue for trip to Segara Anak Lake, we will be there at 12 noon. Enjoy swimming in the lake and hot spring water, just ten minutes from lake . Overnight at Camp Lakeside. ( B.L.D )
Day 03: Lake-Cave-Senaru Rim
After breakfast leave the lake and climb for two hours up to Plawangan 1 Senaru Crater Rim (2,461m), On the way stop at the cave and explore it. . After lunch enjoy the views of the lake from the other side, relax, explore and await the sunset.
If the wind freeze you, you may prefer to descend two hours to Pos 3 Mondokon Lolak and camp in the more sheltered forest.
Day 4 Senaru Rim-Senaru Village
After breakfast descend down the long trail to Senaru village (601m), through thick tropical forests rich in flora, birds and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung.
Rest stops are taken along the way, with village stories and local legends related by your guide. Features include the Batu Penyesalan stone and banyan tree bunut ngengkang that looks like someone standing with their legs apart.
After seven hours walk from the rim, (or five hours from Pos 3 Mondokon Lolak), the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Centre at the road head in Senaru.
